Sulfate resisting Cement manufactured according to American Standard ASTM C150 (Type II) is a type of cement designed to improve the properties of concrete in eroded areas by sulfate; manufactured from sulfate resisting clinker because of containing a small amount of mineral C3A & C3S in the composition. Therefore, hydration process of cement generates less elements having impact to the process of erosion & corrosion of concrete.
Sulfate resisting cement products are applied in construction in extreme environments such as off the coast or saline environment. Sulfate resisting cement can minimize erosion and destruction of the steel structure. Special designs using sulfate resisting cement can also minimize the water permeability of concrete.
Feature
•Minimize corrosion of steel structures by preventing chloride ion; SO4(2-).
•Ensure concrete properties and safety for steel structure in eroded environment by sulfate and environment affected by alum, acid.
•Reduce alkaline reaction - quality of aggregate strengthening the durability of concrete.
•Cement has a high plasticity, easy for construction.
•High strength, especially as the later, strength & durability increase raising life of works.
Application
•Constructing concrete for dams preventing salinity, irrigation dams in aluminous land and water areas, irrigation dams with water level fluctuating up and down irregularly.
•The marine works, underground works with sulfate.
•Using in industrial environment, building factories emitting acids directly affect to concrete floors, tanks & sewage pipes.
Packaging and transport
•Delivering by specialized tank truck.
•Packaging according to customers’ requirement.
•Shipping by road, waterway and railway
